Arrived and there was no hostess at the desk...when she finally came, no nice greeting or apology at all. Used the Ladies Room and not one roll of paper after checking all three stalls! This was early on a Saturday when they should have been ready for a crowd. Food was mediocre. Then, when we left, the Men's Room was filthy -- worse than a roadside rest stop according to the male in our group! Apparently this restaurant is either in the process of going under or in need of a competent manager! Do not recommend eating here!

Realy nice meal and seating for our large party of 12. The food for Mother's Day brunch met all of our expectations. Try the pimento cheese fritters and shrimp and grits!

It was cold at lunch time when I went in and I got appetizer and soup. The soup was really good, I was impressed. The thing that I really loved though were the appetizers. The fried green tomatoes were pretty stinkin' amazing. The smoked tomato jam and basil aioli were both delicious. And I don't even normally like anything smoked. The other really good one was the pimento cheese fritter. Do not leave without trying them.

We live near Charlotte but we visit the Mt. Pleasant area frequently for our sons' soccer tournaments/games. We have eaten at Southerly 3 times and it has been fantastic each and every time. It never seems busy, so getting a table hasn't been an issue. The outside courtyard is adorable and quaint and quiet. It makes for a near perfect meal. My faves are the salmon, the shrimp and grits and the VERY generous kids' menu items.

Excellent food, service, & atmosphere! They have happy hour each day with $3 wine & liquor. Fish and pork tacos are great. Try the pimento cheese fritters, they are amazing!

I really want to like this place. Great appreciation for the investment they've made and the food has been good, nothing really special though. The highlight is the outdoor patio but in January, it's not seeing much action. The main dining room is just one very large room....and sadly it's almost always empty. The odd thing is that even though the main dining room is almost always empty, they will seat you in the worst places...beside the entrance to the kitchen, next to a loud group of diners, etc. the waitstaff could be more attentive. Sadly, I'm guessing they'll close by summer.

Wow .,, What a difference a year makes! BACKGROUND: Please don't skip over this section as it is important in the context of the whole review. I LOVED everything about Southern Season's niche marketing the minute I walked into its new Mt P location last September so it made sense to check out dinner service at Southerly, its sister, full service ( sit down) restaurant, next store. Since this review is not about last October's meal, let's just say the total experience did not meet our expectations. In fact, it was downright disappointing ... but not without a silver lining. Being the (smart) new kid on the block, 'Chapel Hill' sent its corporate head honchos to Mt. P., to quickly address surfacing internal problems. It was apparent that this team was hands-on, visable and accessible from store opening to closing. Jim Jones, its seasoned GM, was clearly a man on a mission as he engaged and sought subjective feedback from every customer he encountered. I soon learned that this was not lip service when the (then) prepared food manager introduced me to Jim, who acknowledged and noted, the absence of ingredients and cooking instructions that should have been included on the label of a house-prepared item that I selected from the deli/prepared foods refrigerated case. What started as a brief conversation during a hectic afternoon on the selling floor led to a working brunch, the following Sunday at Southerly. As I critiqued each course, (between stuffing my face and venting) Jim, took copious notes. While I've shopped at Southern Season at least 3 times a week since that dinner last October we had not been back to dine at Southerly. Considering that we dine out frequently and that it's less than a mile from our home, this was unusual. Yesterday was my birthday ... a big, big milestone ... and we had reservations at one of Charleston's big-name restaurants, Let's just say I was not having a very good day and announced around 3:30 that I cancelled the reservations. Truly, I wanted nothing more than to stay home and sulk (we're still grieving over the loss of our fur son, Wolfie, our 15+ year old, 3 lb. Yorkie who passed away in July). This action did not go over well with my hub who thought it was important to celebrate my big day and recalled reading and noting the excellent $29.00 prix fix (Sun-Thurs) 3 course menu that was included Southern Season's advertisement in Wednesday's edition of the Moultrie News. I weighed the casual atmosphere, e.g., no need to dress up and no fee to park against the 'bad taste in my mouth' from last year's meal. The pros won ... we made a 5:30 reservation on Open Table and were hoping for at least, a satisfactory experience. While nothing changed as far as the decor, it was immediately apparent that Southerly had come full circle: 1) Warm, crusty bread served with soft butter. 2) Tender, fall off the bone pork riblets. 3) Steak perfectly prepared (medium ) as ordered and potato fritters with not a drop of grease. (This selection had a $4.00 surcharge.) 4) Our server, Drew, was attentive and allowed ample time to enjoy each course. Additionally ... 1) We ordered an ala carte starter to accompany our drinks. Our wonderful server, Drew, quickly brought our drinks and a good sized bowl filled with a chunky seafood dip loaded with cod and blue crab, accompanied with a sufficient number of tasty crunchy crackers that held up to the dip without breaking. 2) Southerly's chef put a 'southern' spin on Oysters Rockefeller that was fun and visually appealing. All the elements of the traditional dish (minus the rock salt) were incorporated; however, each plump oyster was lightly breaded, fried golden and rested on its own small mound of fresh, flash steamed spinach and finished with a delicate white sauce. It was delicious. 3) The highlight of my meal was a large, deep, bowl of Lobster Lowcountry Boil. It was dreamy ... with an ample, pre-cracked lobster, smoked sausage, corn and boiled red potatoes all nestled in a delicately seasoned broth. I sopped up every drop with an order of fresh warm bread. 4) My husband really enjoyed his large slice of banana cheese cake. I took my slice home as I could not eat another morsel. 5) Along with the meal's check was a 20% thank you coupon to apply towards a purchase at the Southern Season store -issued to commemorate the restaurant's first year at the location. As the store was approaching it's closing time, I planned to go back the next day to use the coupon. I was a very happy camper by the time we left the Restaurant. We quickly concurred that Southerly would be our new go-to restaurant.

Great outdoor dining on the back patio. Food is delicious - try the sweet tea glazed salmon entrée for lunch. Huge portion. Great value for the money. Brunch is very popular here. The inside just smells so fresh. I'd love to bottle that scent and spray it in my house. I know it sounds crazy, but take a big whiff when you walk in and see what I mean!

Came here for dinner and was very impressed but returned for brunch on a different trip to the area and it was just okay but not great. Not bad, just not as good as dinner. I think the waitstaff and hostess were less friendly this time around, as well.

The BLT featuring perfectly cooked bacon and a fried green tomato will bring me back to Southerly again. Service was good, they were very accommodating for us, which I appreciate because we had a baby with us during our visit. Overall, it's a nice place to grab lunch if you don't want a chain restaurant or anything super fancy.

Great brunch. I had the Belgian waffle with hash brown casserole and my husband had the corned beef hash. We both thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The honey pecan butter was the perfect compliment to the waffle. The corned beef was very tender and the whole hash had a great flavor. The live music during brunch added a nice touch to the atmosphere.

I enjoyed Southerly, but I don't know if I would list it as a place I'll repeatedly go back to. The outdoor space is great, and I liked sitting out there, though it's not very scenic. Inside is pretty upscale, so if you're dressed down for Sunday brunch, you may not want to get a table inside. Brunch options were yummy, but kind of pricey. My meal was good but not great- meaning- I could definitely make it myself and for a whole lot less! I got the onion and mushroom frittata with turkey sausage. Also tried a sticky bun as a split appetizer for 4 of us and that was plenty to go around! They also have outstanding spicy Bloody Mary's. Probably one of better ones I've ever had-- though it comes in a tiny glass, isn't listed on the menu, and the price tag isn't low! Service is very slow. Beer list on tap changes and had some impressive local options, but many were tapped out the day we went (granted- service and selection were affected by the Memorial Day holiday). I guess the 3 stars is more of a personal thing for me: this place just didn't have my kind of vibe. Slightly too formal for my blood. Would prefer to go to a place with a more casual vibe that has the same quality of food: which many, many places in Mt Pleasant do!

I went for brunch, but it was towards the very tail end of the brunch menu switching over. Because of the timing it was completely dead. I think there was one other table seated. They gave us both menus but if we wanted brunch we needed to order ASAP. The no music, no patrons, order now rush made the initial experience a bit awkward, but I can't really hold it against them as I came in at the dreaded 2:40pm on a Sunday time. That time space continuum of where you're getting brunch or no food at all type of thing. I quickly perused the brunch menu and immediately was drawn to the Duck Hash. The waitress mentioned that it didn't come with a side so if I wanted one it was extra. For the record, this meal does not need a side. The menu doesn't do it justice either. This is one serious dish. It's served in a cast iron skillet with a potato base, savory duck, poached eggs, and smothered in hollandaise sauce. The service was a little spotty and slow, but overall polite and helpful. Again, I think this was partially due to the off timing of us coming in and them likely trying to do their side work etc before the next rush. No that it makes it okay but, I understand as well. I'd definitely like to come in during a busier time to see what the atmosphere is really like. Side note: I had no idea there was a bar in here. Looking forward to checking that out as well.

Outstanding service and a great brunch selection! I had a mimosa and the duck confit hash. The hash was fantastic. The perfect portion size to not be overstuffed but leaving feeling satisfied. Our server, Tripp, was great and the ambiance was very relaxing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Sunday brunch reservation at 11:45. When I arrived, the front desk gave me a beeper. WTF? Am I at Olive Garden?! I have a reservation! We were seated 10 minutes later, and then....CRICKETS. We had 20 minutes to sit and review the menu. No waiter. No water. No service. Meanwhile, 3 busy boys were intent on clearing the table behind us, and worse, the MANAGER brushed passed our table, delivering two cocktails to another table. Inexcusable! She didn't stop by to say "someone will be with you", etc. I made another reservation at the Old Post a House in Mt. Pleasant, which was DIVINE! I told them what happened at Southerly and a patron said "I've heard nothing but bad things about Southerly". Then we laughed and enjoyed the BEST brunch in town, with good service to deliver it.

I've never felt so unwelcome at an eating establishment, and I eat out....alot. Hosts were very unpleasant when we walked in. Once seated, we sat there for 10 minutes and no one ever came to take our drink orders. We got up and left after too many uncomfortable stares and being ignored. We really couldn't help to think our treatment had to do with our race. I will never be back and will tell all my family and friends in the area about my terrible experience there. The menu did look ok and the prices were reasonable.

My mom and I came here on our last morning in Charleston. We were headed to Sullivan's island for some beach time after so wanted something on the way. The food was very tasty! I had the duck hash...great flavor combination...I literally scraped the skillet clean. My mom had the waffle. The pecan butter added a twist to a plain waffle choice. My only gripe would be the service. I think our server was a bit slammed (very busy for a weekday and seemed understaffed for it maybe?). I ordered a decaf coffee..within a few sips I could tell it wasn't decaf. When he returned with more coffee for my mom, he said wait I'll get the decaf (she doesn't drink decaf). I told him that I was the decaf drinker and wanted to check about my coffee...he said that he did give me decaf. Upon returning with coffee...he poured more for my mom and more for me...using the same caffeinated carafe. I eventually called the awesome hostess over who brought me a fresh cup.

My family, friends, and I came to this lovely establishment on a lead from a friend. The upscale feel is fully established throughout the decor, service, and presentation. Pimento cheese fritters, with orange marmalade, served in a fry basket, is a must get appetizer. For a place named Southerly, I would have liked to taste better southern sweet tea. The tea can be improved, but overall Southerly is a favorite of mine.

Outstanding! I normally get breakfast from Mozzo or Starbucks but I wanted something different. The staff was courteous, well dressed, well spoken, the decor was upscale yet welcoming. I ordered the beef brisket special and an order of fried green tomatoes. My beef brisket was soft, juicy(melted in my mouth), tender and hinted of a wine reduction sauce paired with sautéed mushrooms and caramelized onions, the poached eggs were delicious and perfectly cooked with a chive hollandaise sauce, my Yukon potatoes were cooked to perfection. It was so good I devoured it. In addition, I ordered fried green tomatoes with 3 dipping sauces(I cannot remember what the fancy sauces were but they were delicious, vivid with bright colors). Very well thought out menu, great combinations of flavor, bright colors, awesome presentations on the platings.I felt like I was dining in Shorthills, NJ or in Manhattan, NY for a very low price of $8.00!

Awesome breakfast/brunch. Not too crowded either especially for the madness that is summer here. House made sticky bun = unreal! Fried green tomato Cackalacky was awesome and the $5 blueberry pancake special was right up my wife's alley. Very nice on the back patio with our 6 month old son.

Tons of empty tables but made us wait 15 minutes to sit, incredibly slow service took over 30 min for food once seated. Dull and flavorless food, reasonably priced. Would not go again

Tonight was the second time my wife and I have eaten at Southerly. The first time was for a Sunday Brunch which we had a fantastic time and would have placed at a 4 or 5 rating. We went tonight and were totally let down. We set up reservations because we were worried that with Restaurant Week, it would be packed. When we came in close to 7, it was rather empty. We were ok with that as we thought it would be relaxing and that we would get the great service that we had last time. We were a bit off. First, they had a duo playing light rock, which would have been ok in the bar - but they were in the dining room so their speakers overpowered any attempt at a simple conversation. As the room started to fill up, it meant everyone had to be loud so their table could hear them. As to the food itself, we watched as the tables around us got their complimentary bread, while we had to wait. That was ok in itself - but we had been there quite a bit longer so it felt like we were being ignored. My wife loved her flounder dish and I did the same with the pork belly appetizer I got. My blackened Red Fish, wasn't blackened at all and didn't really have any seasoning. We ordered desserts and my wife got her's and it was great, mine though was forgotten about and what had become a habit (refill water, more bread, more beer - all had to ask for) we had to get our waiter to find.it . Props to him for going back in the kitchen and expediting it - but still by now we were disappointed. As we left my wife asked if I was willing to give them another chance - and the answer is yes. After such a great first time and then half of a good time tonight - I can hope it will be better next time.

We were impressed with the decor and our server was rehearsed and attentive. We waited at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us at the hostess stand. It wasn't busy and that was disappointing. It is also worth mentioning that the hostess didn't speak to anyone entering or leaving the restaurant. Note to management, if your restaurant is named southerly, show some southern charm! Food was okay. Blackened Redfish was very tasty but was not served warm. Duck Frites were very good. Next time we will try breakfast and see if they do better overall.

Stopped by and had Sunday brunch for the first time the other day. We were seated out on their patio which is nice and large, with a music trio playing near the door. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The standout of the meal was definitely the Pimento Cheese Fritters which are fried on the outside and a delicious pile of melty, cheesy goo on the inside. The fried green tomatoes and sticky bun were also quite tasty. I had a standard breakfast of eggs, bacon, biscuit & hash brown casserole. The biscuit was practically as large as my face and the hash brown casserole was the cheesiest I'd ever had. In my book cheese=delicious. Other members of our party had the short rib hash, which was deemed very good but a little lacking in pizazz, the butternut squash soup and a steak salad. We were stuffed afterwards and didn't have room for dessert but I look forward to coming back again soon to sample more of this tasty fare!

Visited the Southerly for the first time yesterday and was incredibly impressed. We sat at the bar, and enjoyed a few beverages and food. I have to say, the food was incredible! We had the deviled eggs and pimento cheese balls as an appetizer. Both were delicious. I had the short rib as my entree and it was fantastic. It comes with a creamy corn side which compliments the meat impeccably. And the meat was cooked to perfection. I also tried my friends crab cake and was impressed by it as well. Its a real crab cake packed with meat and little filler. The service was great as well. Really friendly, attentive bar tenders. I'll be going back in the next day or two for round 2. A big thumbs up!

Happy hour! The pimento cheese fritters were a decadent treat. The crafted cocktails on special ($3) and house wine (also $3) were a fantastic deal. The rest of the menu looked very tempting. The service was great. The only downside is that it was no so busy. There were not enough people partaking in this awesome Happy Hour.

My friend rented a house in Charleston for the month and on my visit we found Southerly for breakfast. We were a little put off by the decor- looks like a high end dinner place and we wanted a breakfast joint. However, The food was very, very good. Excellent ingredients, eggs a bit over cooked but tasty. My friend had the crab Benedict and she enjoyed it.

Pretty great spot. The brunch was pretty awesome, with a cool yard and nice blues group playing on the patio. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I've ever had. Service was a bit slow, but all and all a good spot to try for a new look at brunch

We decided to go to Southerly's to celebrate 2 family birthdays. It was a nice atmosphere and the small Jazz group was excellent and added to the ambiance for brunch. There were a couple of things that detracted. First, we waited nearly 40 minutes to get our food and one of the meals were completely wrong...it can happen and they did get the replacement out quickly. My meal was the pancakes and while they were tasty, there were only 2 and they were wafer thin...hardly a meal and I was glad I ordered a side of bacon overall most enjoyed their meal. I gave 3 stars for the quality of the food and to say that I will definitely give them another shot!

I am and will continue to be a huge fan of "Southern Season", the food store that is connected to "The Southerly", but my dinner experience was a mere "meh" when I dined there with my siblings and their children tonight. I think the best parts of the meal were the appetizers and the desserts. The pimento cheese fritters were sublime, as were the shrimp hush puppies. My starter salad was fresh, bright and flavourful (great buttermilk dressing, too). It is with the entrees that our meals took a dip. The shrimp and grits were nothing to write home about...grits had black eyed peas blended in and not sure if that was a wise choice. One of my sisters crab cake was not seasoned very well and smelled a bit too "fishy", which made me wonder how fresh it was. The short rib plate, however, received high marks. My cornbread crusted fish over grits was good but could have used a bit more seasoning as well. Desserts were good...the pot de crème and apple/cranberry cobbler both were delicious (as was the coffee). I think the service could use some fine tuning. There were some serious lapses of time between courses and there were times where finished plates stayed on the table for too long. I think I would be less critical of the restaurant if 1-it was not connected to one of the best food stores I have ever walked into and 2-it were not located in an area where the restaurants rank among the best in the country (some, in the world). The prices are also a level where I would expect the food to taste better. I might try them again for brunch (which I have heard raves on) but dinner left me disappointed overall.

Every time I've come here, the food has been outstanding! Dinner and brunch options are great! You won't be disappointed with the pimento cheese fritters!

Had salads there, good portions & food. However, had a lobster roll and I couldn't find the lobster....just a few bits with lots of mayo....no flavor whatsoever. The fries tasted like they were frozen out of a bag & not cooked long enough. Would not recommend this $$ lunch item.

Went to this place for dinner on a Thursday night. The food was all amazing. Got the pimento cheese fritters to start, which were amazing. Definitely recommend them. Shared a salad, short rib and pork chop for dinner. All three were very good and I would definitely order again. Brought our own bottle of wine, which the restaurant happily opened (with a reasonable $15 corkage). But apparently if you buy wine next door at the Market they're connected with, there isn't a fee. Restaurant is very big with a upscale dining room inside and a more relaxed outside patio. It was pretty empty when we were there, which we thought was surprising given how good the food was. Will absolutely return.

Party of nine this evening(8/10/14). Quite a variety of orders. Soups, salads, and entrees were all excellent, as was the service. Quiet enough to allow conversation. Beer and wine charges surprisingly low. This is a great restaurant in a land of great restaurants. Butternut squash soup, pureed beet soup, braised beef over macaroni, glazed salmon - all good. No complaints at all.

We came in for a late lunch/early dinner and found they have a special menu from 3-5pm. Sat outside and it was very beautiful...unfortunately too many bugs. Service was really good. Unfortunately when we asked for a recommendation on the mixed drink menu our waiter was not able to oblige. We selected a rum based butternut squash drink to split and were not disappointed. It was very seasonal and just a touch sweet without being overwhelming on alcohol or flavor. For our meal we split a crab cake and chicken salad croissant. The crab cake was full of yummy crab but unfortunately on the salty side. Corn was served on the side and was very overdressed with mayo or something. The chicken salad croissant was fantastic on the other hand. It was perfectly seasoned and the croissant was nice and flaky. Sweet potato fries served on the side were just perfect! We will be back to eat here again, but I don't think I will get the crab again.

Very nice addition to Mt Pleasant restaurants. The pimento cheese fritters and deviled eggs were yummy starters. My husband enjoyed the steak with cauliflower and kale and my small plate of beets with crispy black beans was perfect. Looking forward to trying their brunch

I have eaten at Southerly several times and always have a fantastic meal. Last Sunday we took my grandparents for Mother's Day Dinner, and everyone enjoyed it! We shared several appetizers including the mussels and pimento cheese fritters, which are my favorites! I had a Swordfish special that was delicious and our other guests raved about the Crispy Flounder and the Steak with Home-made Gouda Tater Tots. Our server was great, and the only critique I would offer is she should have pre-bussed dirty dishes before bringing the next course. Overall it was terrific as usual.

What a great evening at Southerly's! Our waiter, Ben, couldn't have been more attentive. He took extraordinary care of us in a way not often experienced----wine tastings, recommendations, accommodated our individual tastes to a tee. And to top the night, chef Chad came out to describe how he created the homemade marshmallow topping for our chocolate cake. Don't miss the "I love Lucy" dessert cocktail!!! We'll be back!

The restaurant has a nice look to it but way too much space that is not used basically because the place is never busy. Could also be that there is only 4 beers on draft, the food is over priced and not half as good as I expected for a restaraunt with type of look to it. Had the house cut chips which were super super thin, broke in hand, and then the samon which was ok but very small proportion and the bean and sauce with it was a waste (not good). The staff was nice but your gonna need a lot more than that to make it with this place. I live down the road and this place is never busy, no bands or over the top specials to drive in traffic. Oh yeh and at 3pm on the weekend, your gonna have a choice of 4 entrees unless you want breakfast. Fail! Definitely will not be back.

Our daughter treated us to a visit to Southerly for a Christmas treat. We all enjoyed the brunch on the Saturday after Christmas. The dining experience was fantastic. My wife had that day's special - banana foster pancakes and we all sampled - wow! Not too sweet, not to thin, just about perfect. My daughter went for the shrimp and grits and they were tasty but she thought they could be a bit more spicy. Grandson had the scrambled eggs with bacon and mixed fruit and it was fantastic. Picture a quesadilla folded over a generous serving of scrambled eggs mixed with bacon and a serving of melon and berries on the side. I treated myself (and shared with others at the table) with chicken and waffles. The chicken was a full breast fried to perfection and the waffle was Belgium style to sop up all the tasty maple syrup. I especially appreciated that the kids menu was healthy and really tasty. Deserving special mention is the coffee. I am guessing it is Lilly's but whatever it is, it was excellent, robust and freshly prepared. I was pleasantly surprised that the cost of our excellent meals did not break my daughter's wallet. The total bill was around $48, incredible good value. I notice that Southerly is on the Charleston Restaurant week. I would recommend them to all but only at the risk of not being able to get a table myself. We will be back to this place early and often.

We went there for an early lunch and it was our first visit. The atmosphere was very cafeteria-like with tables so close together trying to follow our hostess without bashing diners in the head with my purse was challenging. It reminded me of the dining hall at an elder-care center. We started with the fried pimento cheese balls. Presentation was cute, in a little fry basket, and they were ok. But they sure seemed pre-formed and frozen. I had the braised short rib which was served in a iron skillet on top of pearl couscous. The meat was fine but the sauce was gritty and overly rich. It came with a side salad (greens, red onion, tomato) but it was served on the same plate as the hot iron skillet. Room temperature salad is gross. Hot salad is even grosser. I literally lost my appetite and couldn't finish the meal. My guest ordered the linguine and her sauce was like tap water and milk. Tasteless, watery and bland. My other guest had a sandwich and I kid you not subway does a better job (at a much lower price). All in all as we looked around the room (11:30 a.m) on a Monday we could't help to notice everyone had wine. I am thinking if we had gone that route perhaps the food would have been edible. I did take the couscous home (against my better judgement) and when I opened the container the next day there was a sludge of orange greasy fat in the container. I measured it, 1/4 cup! Needless to say I threw it away and felt a little sick to my stomach.

I've only had breakfast but if they do lunch and dinner as well as they do the first meal then I can't wait to get back. The pancakes are crazy good. Seriously, my 6-year-old rarely says anything about his food and he paused long enough while eating his blueberry pancakes to say "Dad, these are the best pancakes I've ever had." I would have to agree. They're almost like a cupcake with maple syrup frosting, but only half as sweet as that sounds. Plus, the bacon and sausage are top quality, not like the cheapo filler meats you get at most family-friendly breakfast joints. I have also had the veggie Eggs Benedict, which substitutes a falafel patty for the standard English muffin and Canadian bacon. Unbelievably good. I could have eaten five of them. And the grits were creamy and delicious. Mt. Pleasant has a strange lack of great breakfast places and while the Southerly certainly isn't just a breakfast place it's fantastic to see them come to town. Can't wait to try lunch and dinner!

The crab cakes were delicious! The lamb was ok. The portion size was decent. I really enjoyed the desserts, especially the red velvet cake. There was a live band playing that day. Good music.

Very good brunch & live jazz surprised all of us :) The bloody mary sampler was nice for $10 and my special was really good. The service was very good, Ambience was nice too. My two friends got the chicken and waffles and they weren't overly impressed with them. But overall we all had a very very nice experience and I would not count them out. I would give them a try the menu looked good!

Wow! First time here on Sat. My wife and I were super pleased about the food and service. First off our server was a young man named PJ. Well spoken, friendly but not annoying. The food was outstanding! My wife had the steak and I had their special burger, nothing says delicious like bacon jam and pimento cheese on a burger! Yes it's a little pricey but the service and the food were worth it.

Mediocre food. The buttermilk chicken salad dressing was too sweet. The fried tomatoes where all bread.
